The February 2014 edition of “ASEAN Today” is out, with the ongoing political struggle in Thailand leading the show.
Cam Nhung of Vietnam TV in Hanoi co-anchors the program this month with Dalton Tanonaka of The Indonesia Channel in Jakarta. They also report on Vietnam’s gemstone market, easing the commuter crunch in Singapore with bicycles, and the quiet but nourishing side of the Thai resort town of Pattaya. The first images in 15 years of the rare saola is also part of the program. Durudee Sirichanya of the ASEAN Secretariat has the month’s regular feedback segment.
