The events in Thailand that resulted in the military taking government control is the top story in the June 2014 edition of “ASEAN Today.”
Chairat Thomya of Thailand’s Channel 3 co-anchors the program from Bangkok, with Dalton Tanonaka of The Indonesia Channel in Jakarta. They also report on the highlights of the 24th ASEAN Summit in Myanmar including an assessment from Secretary General Le Luong Minh. Other stories include graffiti art in Cambodia and the global goals of Inodnesian batik producer Alleira. Durudee Sirichanya of the ASEAN Secretariat has the month’s regular feedback segment.
